Val Saint Lambert is a company whose core glass is located in the ancient abbey of Seraing, province of Liege, Belgium. The company has been operating since 1826, Val St. Lambert is the official supplier of the King Albert II of Belgium. It is characterized by quality production because of the clarity of his glasses.
The Abbaye du Val-Saint-Lambert was owned by the Cistercian monks, followers of the Rule of St. Benito.1 The monastery was abandoned during the French Revolution. In the year 1825 in Val Saint-Lambert Jean-Franois Deneef is installed with the intention of creating a glass factory whose quality surpasses that of neighboring Baccarat.
Val Saint Lambert was established by chemical M. Kemlin, which was employed previously in Vonche Ardennes. Soon he accomplishes several medals because of the clarity of glass pieces. Val Saint Lambert is known for its art nouveau style and art deco pieces.
