The Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAF) is a component command of the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). Its primary mission is to coordinate and conduct special operations activities across Africa in support of U.S. policy objectives. SOCAF was established in 2007, headquartered at Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany, with additional sites in various African countries.
