Coastal palm regency hexagonal rattan bamboo side table or dining table base, France, 1970s. Originally this gorgeous base started as a dining table base, by simply adding a glass top it can easily become one again. The latter part of its life it was used as a side table or large pedestal. All the woven rattan is still intact and in good condition. The black lacquered bamboo has had some touch ups over the years, a couple near the top but some more near the bottom as can be seen in the pic but it does not affect its overall look and feel. The top has a width of 53 cm measured from its furthest corner and 45 cm measured from the horizontal sides.
