During his time in Madrid he was part of the Madrid Movida movement. The Movida madrilea was an urban cultural movement of early post-Frankism, whose best-known member was the film director Pedro Almodvar. Inspired by the newfound freedom after Franco’s death, the movement embodied exaltation and hedonism. The Dry Martini bar stools from Miralles from 1985 offered here are exactly in this tradition.
