A table lamp produced by a Czech company, Drukov, as the type 1863/1. The still operating company based in Brno was founded in the late forties and consisted of many branches of diverse metal production. This lamp was probably manufactured in the late sixties. The metal lamp shade painted brightly red is shaped as a section of a sphere, it is connected with the black plastic covered base by a curved chromium-plated rod. There is a secondary shade around the lightbulb that directs the light onto the work desk. The lamp has been left in its original condition which is excellent considering its age.
