These vases are chic. This is a vintage set that dates from the 20th century. One is marked DEC 739. They are hexagonal in shape and the intricate decoration that embellishes their exterior really catches the eye, being full of blue designs and images that barely allow the white background to be seen. The decorations are divided into panels, one on each side of the vase. The bases of the pieces and the parts which pass immediately under the necks of the vases are decorated in the same way: they bear abstract motifs with always the same flower in the center. The collars have a similar decoration but the abstract patterns and flowers are slightly different. The most attractive part is surely the central body: it is the largest and its six panels are decorated with oriental motifs, framed by broad lighter stripes and with beautiful images of geishas at the top. There are two different images that repeat alternately, making up a total of three portraits of each geisha in each vase. The women are dressed in traditional kimonos and their hairstyle is also classic. Their portraits show only their heads and shoulders: one of them turns her back to the viewer and turns her head back, while the other looks to the left and rests her face on her hand, looking thoughtful. and introspective. These images are evocative and delicate and make this pair of vases an attractive set that will undoubtedly stand out in the most elegant room.

One is in good condition and unfortunately the other has been broken, glued back together and has some missing parts. We sell them clearly specifying these defects.
