This is an amazing set of 4 handmade tiles with 4 different stylized angel/putti designs in very light blue with white background. Manufactured around 1930 in Hasselt “Majoliques de Hasselt”, the Netherlands. In total 24 tiles of 4 designs available. These tiles would be charming displayed on easels, framed or incorporated into a custom tile design. Size each tile: 6 inches (15.2 cm) width x 6 inches (15.2 cm) height x 0.39 inches (1 cm) thick. Condition is generally very good. Minor chips, scuffs, color difference and wear associated with age. Some crazing to the glaze is part of the design. There can be slight variations in each tile’s size because of their age and craftsmanship.
