Storia della Colonna Infame is an original black and white etching on paper, realized by the Italian artist Bruno Caruso. Signed on the lower right. Titled, Storia della colonna infame. In excellent conditions. Bruno Caruso (Palermo, 1927 – Rome, 2018) was an Italian painter, draftsman, engraver, writer. His artworks are focused on the moral, political and ethical flaws of the 20th Century. His attention has always focused on the ethical and civil aspects of man, from the hottest themes of his native land (Sicily) to the most global ones, such as war, mental hospitals, nature. Interested in the world of publishing, journalism and photography, over the course of his life he has collaborated with various Italian newspapers to found himself intellectual magazines, such as ”Sicilia” in 1953.
