The 353rd Special Operations Group (AFSOC) is a key component of the United States Air Force’s special operations forces. Stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, this group primarily consists of HC-130J Combat King II and MC-130J Commando II aircraft, which are utilized for various specialized air mobility missions. These include combat search and rescue, infiltration, exfiltration, and resupply operations. The 353rd Special Operations Group also supports joint special operations forces and contributes to counter-terrorism and unconventional warfare efforts worldwide.
