The 352nd Special Operations Wing (AFSOC) is a United States Air Force unit responsible for conducting special operations air and space missions worldwide. This wing, stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida, falls under the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). The primary mission of the 352nd SOW includes providing specialized aircraft, personnel, and support to conduct unconventional warfare, direct action, special reconnaissance, counter-terrorism operations, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The wing operates various aircraft types such as the MH-53E/P “Pave Low” helicopter, MC-130H “Combat Talon,” HC-130J “Combat King II,” AC-130U “Gunship III” and the CV-22 “Osprey.” The 352nd SOW’s motto is ‘Fortis In Arduis’ which means ‘strong in hardships.’
