This wing’s primary mission is to provide tactical airlift capabilities using C-130 Hercules aircraft for the U.S. military and allies around the world. The 175th Wing also provides specialized combat support operations such as airborne intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare. Based at Portland International Airport in Oregon, the 175th Wing operates under the jurisdiction of the Air Force Reserve Command’s Ninth Air Force.
