Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern hand blown glass vase. Designed by Per Ltken in 1955 and manufactured by Holmegaard Glasvrk Denmark from 1955 to 1974. This vase is from the “Safir” collection, named such because of the color (sapphire blue).
This drop vase (Drbevase”) is from a private collection of a former employee of Holmegaard. The vase is engraved with II S (2nd factory quality). It has a small air bubble in the glass.
Very good original condition with only light patina consistent with age and use. Small air bubble in the glass.
