The famous Fire Chair designed for Schou Andersen in the 1960s is a classic example of mastery of Danish mid-century modernist craftsmanship upholstered with new black aniline leather. The ergonomic sculpture, solid teak frame, and black seat will suit any vanity table or desk or can be a decorative addition to any interior.
The chair has been renovated. Teak wood construction was cleaned and covered with protecting oil to enhance the grain. The leather and padding are new. It is soft, thin black aniline leather.
We often leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring it back to its best look, considering it is 70 years old.
