This set of 2 modernist hanging lamps is an authentic design classic from the GDR, manufactured at the VEB Metalldrcker in Halle (Saale) during the 1960s. Lamps from the VEB Metalldrcker are part of the design collection of the renowned GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts in Leipzig. The cylindrical lamp reflectors are made of pressed aluminium, copper and lacquered metal. The lamps create a beautiful direct and indirect light.
