The 155th Air Refueling Wing is a unit of the United States Air Force, operating under the Air Mobility Command. Based at Stratton Air National Guard Base in New York, this wing’s primary mission involves aerial refueling operations using the KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft. It provides air-to-air refueling for other U.S. military and allied aircraft during long-range missions or when they are operating away from traditional ground facilities. The 155th Air Refueling Wing also performs other duties, such as strategic airlift, combat rescue, and aeromedical evacuation, in support of federal and state missions.
