The 52d Expeditionary Flying Training Squadron is a unit of the United States Air Force responsible for providing training to student pilots. Based on rotation, it operates out of various locations worldwide in support of air combat command’s pilot training mission. It offers advanced jet training using the T-38 Talon aircraft. The squadron is part of the 50th Flight Test Squadron and is subordinate to the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Its lineage can be traced back to World War II, making it one of the older units in the USAF.
