The 99th Medical Support Squadron is a unit of the United States Air Force (USAF) responsible for providing medical support services. The squadron, based at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, plays a critical role in sustaining the health and readiness of military personnel, as well as their families and civilians when needed. It offers a wide range of healthcare services, including but not limited to primary care, specialty care, dental care, pharmacy, lab services, mental health, and preventive medicine. The squadron’s mission also includes supporting operational readiness by preparing medical personnel for deployment in various global locations. In addition to its base at Eglin AFB, the 99th Medical Support Squadron has detachments located at other USAF bases across the United States.
