The 37th Training Wing (37 TRW) is a unit of the United States Air Force (USAF) based at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC). Established in 1948, the 37th Training Wing’s mission is to provide specialized pilot and aviation technical training for multiple USAF aircraft platforms. This includes the T-6 Texan II, UH-1N Huey, BQM-167A Aerial Target Drone, and the T-1 Jayhawk. The wing also manages the Air Force’s Aviation Maintenance Apprentice program, among others. Over the years, the 37th Training Wing has evolved to adapt to changing needs within the USAF, continually improving its role in producing highly skilled airmen for various operational and support roles.
