The 134th Fighter Squadron is a unit of the United States Air Force (USAF) within the Arizona Air National Guard. Established on December 20, 1946, at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona, its primary role is to operate and maintain the F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft as part of the air defense mission. The squadron falls under the jurisdiction of the 162nd Wing. Throughout its history, the 134th Fighter Squadron has been deployed multiple times for various missions, including combat operations in Southwest Asia during the Gulf War and Operation Enduring Freedom. Its notable accomplishments include being awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award on three separate occasions.
