The 59th Medical Wing is a major command within the United States Air Force (USAF) responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to Air Force personnel, their families, and beneficiaries stationed at Joint Base San Antonio in Texas, one of the largest military installations in the U.S. This medical wing offers a full spectrum of medical care including primary care, specialty care, mental health services, dental care, and pharmacy services among others. The 59th Medical Wing’s mission is to ensure operational readiness and resilience of Air Force personnel by delivering world-class, high-quality, and efficient healthcare services in a safe and compassionate environment. The wing consists of more than 4,000 military, civilian, and contractor personnel dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to the USAF community.
