The 607th Air Support Operations Group (ASOG) is a unit of the United States Air Force (USAF). It falls under the operational control of the Air Combat Command (ACC) and provides air support for ground forces. This group is primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing close air support, combat search and rescue, air interdiction, offensive and defensive counterair operations, as well as command and control and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in support of joint and combined operations. The 607th ASOG is stationed at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.
